Hey friends!

My apologies for being the worst blogger ever. As you can see, I've been as busy as ever taking lots of photos for family and friends (who isn't family or a friend, after you spend so much time taking their pictures and editing them, right?) and have resolved that my New Year's Resolution will be to post pictures after I have finished editing them, instead of two huge posts twice a year :)

More apologies are due as to the design and construction of the website here. I'm revamping things a bit, and have been meaning to for awhile. I had a new business name and everything, but eventually decided to reveal that later, after I have the new blog all set up. As for right now, excuse the giant pictures that run into and off of the center and right and left columns. Very soon that will be a thing of the past :)

One three more sessions to finish this year! Wish me luck!!!

My cousin Krista just had baby boy number 2 - little Kyler is such a handsome little man. Love LOVE little baby boy's forehead wrinkles - he is so adorable. Wyatt is also a cute little man, and was very patient with our repeated "just one more picture like this! just one more!"

Thanks Krista, for letting me practice with your beautiful newborn. And thanks Kyler, for being absolutely perfect :)

Champagne Family/Alan and Danielle Engagements

We had to have the engagement session of Alan and Danielle broken up with sporadic family shots with Jayden. Here is the end result - gorgeous family pictures for a new little family, and beautiful engagement pictures for a wonderful couple. Congrats Danielle! Alan is a lucky man to get two beautiful ladies!!!

After doing a fantastic bridal shoot, Danielle and I decided to do another bridal shoot - this one of her and her firecracker daughter Jayden. It was a lot of fun, and a lot of work - Jayden was all over the place! I love kids :)

Every time I see this picture I'm amazed at how gorgeous it is. In color, and in black and white.

This is me, all caught up to last month - look at me go! My cousin Danielle was married in May, and as a prelude to the amazingness, we of course did a bridal shoot. A gorgeous bridal shoot. The best photo shoot I've done - ever, thanks to my new little lens and a beautiful spring in an orchard. Enjoy!

Kayla's Senior Flute Recital, 2011

Kayla and I are besties. We go waaay back. She graduated from college with a degree in Interpreting ASL and a minor in Flute Performance. I was so happy she asked me to take her pictures for her senior recital - she is so gorgeous and I hadn't seen her in awhile, so it was good times all around!

Europe Trip 2010

My husband and I took a European adventure in May of 2010. We flew into London, took the chunnel to Paris, then the train to Berlin, Salzburg, and Vienna, the bus to Venice, a train to Rome, and a plan to Madrid before coming back to good ole Salt Lake City.

It was the trip of a lifetime.

My little niece/cousin turned one, and of course we had to celebrate with a photo shoot. Isn't she adorable? You'd never know that she threw a fit for almost the whole shoot ;)

Moab Trip 2010

My photography class took a field trip to Moab, Utah, to capture some of the beauty that is Southern Utah. The following were taken in Arches National Park and feature Balance Rock, Dead Horse Point, Double Arch, and Mirror Arch.

I love Utah - it is so gorgeous.

When she asked me to take some Bridal photos for her, I could hardly contain my excitement. She is so beautiful (I mean, check out the pics!) and was so good at going with the flow of things. She was also incredibly daring with her beautiful dress!

My sister and her family are such troopers! It was over 90 degrees, and probably 120% humidity, but they toughed it out and we had a great time taking pictures! Her family is so cute too - her girls are adorable (not that I'm biased or anything)! Enjoy!

This was a last-minute Father's Day shoot that turned out to be amazing! My cousin and her two little girls were adorable, the weather was cloudy and not rainy, and we had such a good time!
